My images are digital meta-abstractions of photographs I have taken of nature and/or arranged flowers. The original chaotic color energies are preserved in the linear sorting and replicated in the flowing images I generate - a new image that affects but is also affected by the original. The result reflects a tension between the old and new re-ordered energies, resulting in a new, ordered chaos.

In composition, I am inspired by traditional still life art as well as imagery with chiaroscuro lighting. I use this inspiration to capture ethereal moments in time when the flowers are full of life and energy.
